Saving Lives as a Service
Next-Gen, Hyper-Scaleable, Patient-Centric, Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform built on Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)

Digital Health Platform built on DLT using Micro clouds at the Edge.

A continuously syncing, hyper scaleable platform (Kubernetes-powered), and ecosystem keeping patient records up to date, up to the minute as soon as one of the components is connected again to the internet.

HealthSum’s fundamental value proposition is based on our proprietary Electronic Health Record, uniquely built on a Distributed Ledger that greatly enhances scaleability and cost efficiency. At the heart of our EHR is a digital health journal that could also power competitive, legacy EHRs.

Our EHR features Patient Records, Analytics and Data Security yet is also built to accommodate third-party add-ons, the first of which being health insurance in partnership with Stonestep.

What
We are a Norwegian, for profit, private B2B2C technology company in the MedTech/IoMT space. Our company has developed a Next-Gen Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform with value-adding components, complimentary end user applications and specialist interfaces. The whole is designed with developing countries in mind at first.
How
We are reinventing the way health data is mobilised, through the decentralised aggregation, storing, processing and, from the patients perspective; the provision of access to own data, via our proprietary Distributed Ledger. Our hyper-scaleable (Kubernetes powered) platform is fed by clinicians, patients, and related organisations, onboarded either directly or through country specific partnerships.
Why
Disconnects between large cities and areas further afield are commonplace in developing countries, often depriving rural dwellers of access to health services. Decentralised technologies allow us to mitigate this and substantially improve the lives of millions in emerging regions and add further economic value derived from efficiency in more mature markets. Moreover, our data model restores ownership to the rightful originators, allowing patients to unlock value from their records for research purposes, to benefit their families and communities
Sustainable development goals
HealthSum’s impact concept brings wide-ranging improvements in the countries where it will be deployed.

HealthSum contributes to the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) no.3, ‘Good Health and Well Being’, by drastically improving the health of entire populations, as well as bringing technical innovation to the regions under our target.

Our company empowers local operators to integrate the platform in legacy systems, thereby creating jobs and generating value that is kept locally, therefore, targeting the SDG no.1, ‘No Poverty’.

Built on Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), including “Kubernetes”, HealthSum’s platform “works smarter” than existing systems that struggle to scale, having to stack multiple CPUs and necessary ancillary to cope with volume, thereby massively increasing costs, also in terms of transaction. Our fully hybrid platform represents a ground-breaking advancement in IT infrastructure, reducing the amount of energy and extra capex needed to operate health facilities, a must for the SDG no.9, ‘Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure’, which we also support.

HealthSum works with partners, organisations and businesses globally to achieve its mission and purpose, therefore also contributing to the SDG no.17, ‘Partnerships for the Goals’, as part of the company’s business model, purpose and vision.
